This request is for an administrative design review, including review by the Design Advisory Committee, in accordance with Article 4, Section 4.5 and Article 18, Section 18.32 for the expansion of a residentially-zoned structure in the University Area Design Overlay. The proposal is to renovate an existing three-family residence into a two-family residence, including raising the basement level height. This request requires a variance from the provisions of Article 18, Section 18.32.B to permit an addition to a single-family residence that exceeds the allowable height. Permitted: 30 feet, Provided: 31 feet, 5 inches, Waiver: 1 foot, 5 inches. This request is being reviewed at the February 18, 2026 DAC meeting.
